It seems I’ve inadvertently retreated from this space again. Every so often my inclination towards introversion envelops me. I get busy with work, travel, personal life and all of the distractions of working from home, and an invisible barrier forms between me and the login page.

So, hello again.

We’ve been on holiday for a few weeks, and ‘normal life’ (such as it is) resumes today. Rob’s asleep in preparation for a night on call, and I’m knee deep editing wedding photos and attempting to catch up on my ever expanding to do list. There’s a bit of ‘where did the holiday go?’ sulking going on.

We had a brilliant couple of weeks traipsing around China, relishing the simplicity of a backpack and loose plans. Working out whether we wished we were still on the road (yes and no), where we want to go next (everywhere), life plans (undecided). And, embarrassingly, taking 70GB of photos.

I’ll share some in the next few days, as well as the oh-so-long-overdue continuation of our adventure last year. Hello again!
